Role introduction
As a D365 F&O Lead Finance Consultant you can expect to…
- Deliver high‑value functional and application support that helps clients maximize their investment in D365 F&O.
- Lead the resolution of complex functional issues by diagnosing root causes, replicating scenarios, and recommending sustainable solutions.
- Configure and enhance D365 F&O Finance modules to support evolving business processes.
- Partner closely with clients to understand business needs, identify improvements, and provide best‑practice recommendations.
- Manage and prioritize tickets, enhancements, and mini‑projects with minimal supervision.
- Develop functional requirement documentation and design specifications for enhancements.
- Perform and support unit testing, regression testing, and deployment activities for upgrades and solution changes.
- Collaborate with technical teams, solution architects, and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate design and delivery.
- Proactively monitor environments and assess opportunities for process efficiency, automation, and optimization.
- Guide clients through feature releases, hotfixes, and platform updates as part of ongoing lifecycle management.
- Provide end-user support and training to ensure adoption and correct use of the solution.
- Maintain strong client relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and superior service.
- Participate in after‑hours or on‑call rotations as needed to support critical client needs.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft D365 F&O/Dynamics AX Finance Consultant.
- Hands-on experience supporting Finance modules including: General Ledger, AR, AP, Cash & Bank Management, Project Accounting, and reporting tools (Management Reporter/FRx).
- Experience working in a Managed Services, support, or application maintenance environment preferred.
- Deep knowledge of D365 F&O financial functionality and the ability to map solutions to business needs.
- Strong ability to analyze issues, perform root-cause analysis, and propose long-term solutions.
- Expertise in configuring and customizing D365 Finance functionality.
- Experience managing testing cycles, deployment processes, and post-deployment validation.
- Microsoft D365 F&O Financials certifications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Physical Requirements:
- This is a sedentary position that primarily involves sitting/standing. You can expect to:
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods

- Communicate with others to exchange information via telephone, email, instant messaging tools and video conferencing

As our new Xurrent Application Administrator, you’ll become a key member of our Business Systems team, working at the heart of a major transformation. Xurrent (4me) is our new internal service management platform, designed to streamline operations and elevate the support we provide to our clients. In this role, you won’t just be maintaining a system—you’ll be shaping how over 300 colleagues in our Managed Services team interact with it daily. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to tailor the platform to real-world needs, ensuring it evolves in step with our services. With a high degree of autonomy, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of the platform and play a central role in how effectively we deliver value to our clients. As a Xurrent Application Administrator at HSO, you will play a pivotal role in our dedicated IT team and responsible for configuring and maintaining the Xurrent Service Management Platform. You will collaborate with business owners to implement new services and ensure up-to-date documentation and training for users. Your key responsibilities and tasks in this role will include: User and Role Management: Oversee the creation, modification, and management of user accounts and roles to ensure secure and efficient access control. Service Management Configuration: Design, configure, and optimize service management processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Automation: Develop and implement automations to streamline repetitive tasks and improve system performance. CMDB Management: Set up, maintain, and manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up-to-date asset information. Self-Service Portals: Create and manage intuitive self-service customer portals to enhance user experience and reduce support workload. Requirements Experience with Service Management (e.g., ITIL, USM) and related processes is essential. Proven track record of working in a SIAM (Service Integration and Management) environment Ability to manage multiple service providers and integrate their services into a cohesive and efficient service management system. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Affinity with IT and experience in configuring web applications.
