First steps at HSO

When Jolijn began her journey with the HSO Young Professional Program she was immediately embraced by a warm atmosphere. The induction day was filled with speed dating sessions with employees, and a series of presentations that gave a clear picture of the culture and people at HSO.

The following week she started the Master Class, an introduction to Microsoft's systems and the consulting world. Despite concerns about her non-IT background, Jolijn found the learning curve manageable, with knowledge conveyed at a comfortable pace.

The program emphasizes a balance of hard and soft skills, where the young professionals not only become familiar with the systems they will be working with, but also develop the communication skills needed to have effective conversations with customers.

A highlight for Jolijn was the business case exercise during the Master Class, where they worked together in a team to create a real life customer case and presented the solution to the trainers.

Working on a project

After the Masterclass, Jolijn started working on a project right away. 

"I have now started in an after-sales project, dealing with customer service and field service. I really enjoy the customer contact and experiencing many different activities."

That she would have meetings with customers and provide training right away, Jolijn did not expect. "I just start on assignments that are open in the sprint and gradually I learn how things work in practice."

Fortunately, Jolijn gets a lot of support from her buddy Robin. “We work together most of the time, with Robin giving me assignments. Eventually we review the assignments together and he gives me tips and tricks on how I could do better. This suits my way of learning."

Carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the Managed Services Team Lead. In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal process and requirements as per the Company Handbook and operate in such a manner as to conform to the Company’s Quality System. Operate to HSO ISO27001 and GDPR policies and procedures. Always represent HSO in a professional and positive manner, to always adhere to health and safety policy and any other requirements relating to care of equipment. Ensure releases for customer are done in line with other HSO and customer activities.   Project & Stakeholder Management Ensure any concerns around quality of deliverables are captured and escalated so as to be clear with customers around potential impact on timescales and financials. Ensure any changes in plans or delivery are explained to customers to ensure expectations are set and met. Produce and own a resourcing plan to fulfil upcoming tasks in the most cost-efficient manner available. Lead regular alignment calls with delivery teams for progress updates. Complete real-time reporting for use with team colleagues, customers and Senior Management. This will include the need to capture hours utilised against ongoing project and profitability of services. Be available as a point of contact for optimisations projects where required. Take ownership of ongoing communication and work with other Managed Services teams to work to resolve issues.   Description At HSO, we’re looking for a Global Performance Marketing Manager to drive growth through paid digital campaigns across multiple channels worldwide. This is a hands-on role for someone with solid experience running and optimizing campaigns across search, social, display, and newer platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building and managing multiple campaigns, analyzing data, and making smart recommendations to improve ROI, pipeline, and customer acquisition. Strong knowledge of PPC, paid social, and conversion optimization is essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute paid media strategies to drive lead generation, pipeline creation, brand awareness, and customer acquisition. Plan, execute, and develop paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, and other programmatic tools. Manage and run multiple campaigns simultaneously across different markets for regionally disperse teams. Manage budgets and allocate spend efficiently to maximize ROI. Provide detailed campaign reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders. Stay up to date with the latest paid media trends, platform updates, competitor activity and industry best practices. Requirements 5+ years’ experience managing multi-channel paid campaigns at scale (global or multi-market experience strongly preferred). Proven track record of driving measurable business results (pipeline, revenue, ROAS, ROI, etc.) through paid media. Hands-on proficiency in Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other programmatic platforms. Knowledge of SEO principles and how they integrate with paid media strategies . Experience working with multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously. Experience managing large campaigns in multiple international markets. Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to drive decisions and interpret insights. To work in all areas of project lifecycle from RFP and Tender through to Implementation and support, with responsibility for technical solution design, delivery, and deployment. Reporting to D365 CE Services Director Key Responsibilities: Work closely with Technical Architect to deliver the technical solution that fits with overall technical design. Define project Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategy. Manage DevOps: repositories, branching, solutions, build and release pipelines. Ownership of complex development items: C# plugins, JavaScript, PCF controls, and custom pages. Perform Tech design and customisation/code review/QA ensuring best practice coding standards are met. Identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks. For large projects, allocate development work to developers, manage development team on daily basis. Manage application issues both related to standard and bespoke code. Making sure that development satisfies the customer’s functional, technical and business requirements (FDDs & IDDs). Production of Technical Design Documents. Management and definition of environment landscape to fit project needs. To attend weekly project update call and give development update to wider project team. To be an active member of the HSO CE Services Team focused on implementing D365 solutions at our customers. This includes engaging with external customers to understand and shape requirements to achieve desired business outcomes.  To support sales and the pre-sales team to ensure workable solutions for prospects are being promoted. Owns technical delivery on projects, with the ability to deep dive into the technical inquiries on proposed solution.  To produce architecture and design documentation to agreed HSO standards. To understand the HSO project delivery methodology and apply this implementation approach to all HSO Projects.  To work closely with project teams and act as a point of reference/escalation during the implementation, particularly through go-live advising/improving on scalability and performance of the solution.  Act as a Technical lead and mentor colleagues to share knowledge.  Plan and execute wave release updates.     Experience and Skills Essential Solid experience on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Apps and Power Platform. Acted as a Technical Lead in at least 3 successful Dynamics CRM projects. Adept at Business Requirement Analysis Adept at working with functional consultants to translate business needs into viable technical solutions. Effectively communicating complex technical concepts, constraints, and solutions to both technical team members and non-technical stakeholders. Solid understanding and design of Environment Architecture. Good understanding of implementation methodologies. Exam passes for relevant Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement technical certifications. Practical knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement tables, workflows, Power Automate, customisation and configuration. Desirable Experience of data and application integration to and from Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. Knowledge of data migration options and processes. Knowledge of other technologies which are complementary to the core Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solution.
