Tudor Radoi
Business Intelligence Consultant | HSO International

"Sometimes, you just know it's time to grow. That’s why in the winter of 2021, Tudor Radoi packed his bags, and together with his wife left their native Romania to seek new, challenging careers in Amsterdam."

A deep passion for connecting with others

Sometimes, you just know it's time to grow. That’s why in the winter of 2021, Tudor Radoi packed his bags, and together with his wife left their native Romania to seek new, challenging careers in Amsterdam. But the most important thing Tudor brought with him was not packed in a suitcase, nor learned during his time at the prestigious Bucharest University of Economic Studies. If you are fortunate enough to meet him, you will immediately realize what sets him apart is his contagious good attitude and ability to connect with others on a personal level.

Today, Tudor has grown into a Business Intelligence Consultant at HSO International, helping a portfolio of global clients decipher their toughest challenges and develop solutions that give them a competitive edge. He was kind enough to give us a peek into his life, reveal how working at HSO facilitates his professional development, and give us some tips for success.

Tudor is not new to consulting. From the beginning of his career, he has been involved in Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management projects. But his passion for helping others quickly led him to more client facing roles, and he became a Business Intelligence and Dynamics 365 Consultant working for other Microsoft partners. Before long, he could not get enough and knew it was time to raise the stakes with a globally minded company.

A pragmatic positive attitude

In business, teamwork and customer service are facts of life. While technical acumen is a must, it must be accompanied by social and emotional intelligence. Tudor doesn’t just navigate these relationships effortlessly. His positivity is a multiplier in working with colleagues and customers alike, and stimulates the entire team to put forth ideas that push the limits.

But Tudor is not just full of good vibes. He keenly identifies the boundaries of the business landscape from a realist’s point of view and can clearly lay out possible courses of action to his teammates and customers. “I like to bring a positive energy to the table, but still make sure I am being clear about what we realistically can do for a client,” Tudor says.

His collaborative and personal manner enables him to push those boundaries and really connect with the client’s needs so the team can develop the best possible solution. “It is important that we are focusing on adding business value to the customer, not just creating an app that fills a gap,” Tudor adds.
