Based in Montreal, Solution Architect Ricardo Aldaco brings 20+ years of experience and a rare blend of engineering and business expertise to HSO. Working across Dynamics 365 F&O, Ricardo designs end-to-end solutions that help organisations navigate complex data landscapes and focus on what truly drives decision-making.

With two decades of experience and three degrees across engineering and business, Ricardo Aldaco brings a rare blend of technical depth and strategic insight to his work as a Solution Architect at HSO. Based in Montreal, Ricardo specialises in designing and delivering end-to-end solutions within the Dynamics 365 FOSC ecosystem, handling everything from client requirements and project estimates to configuration, data migration, and training.

Ricardo has had a front-row seat to the exponential growth of data in our daily lives and the challenges that come with it. “The complexity of discerning good data from garbage has become a major issue,” he says. “At the same time, the tools available to manage and use that data have evolved incredibly fast.”

His advice for anyone entering the Data & AI space? Focus on information needs from day one. “Design your solutions around the decisions people need to make. Ensure the right inputs are built into the process, not just added on as an afterthought.

He also sees Microsoft as a strong long-term player: “For someone new to the field, it’s hard to know which platforms to bet on. But Microsoft is clearly investing in growing its own ecosystem, and I think that’s a safe bet.

Ricardo is already seeing how tools like Copilot are beginning to transform everyday work, helping surface key meeting points, summarise documents, and improve productivity. While there's more to come, he sees the direction as a promising one.

So what makes HSO different? “There’s a clear ambition to grow the business,” he says. “It’s not always perfect - like any fast-growing company, there are growing pains - but the potential here is real.
