Microsoft D365 Lead Finance Consultant - Managed Services
As a D365 F&O Lead Finance Consultant you can expect to… Deep, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations A strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships while providing high-quality ongoing support Experience implementing and supporting key Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank and Cash Management, Management Reporter, and Project Accounting The ability to analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements using Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities, identifying opportunities for automation, streamlining workflows, and optimizing system usage Expertise developing clear and comprehensive functional specifications, gap analyses, and training documentation Proven experience troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting system issues accurately and efficiently A strong understanding of system integrations and coordinating batch job schedules Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Professional communication skills that enable you to influence, problem-solve, and collaborate with stakeholders The ability to build productive, collaborative relationships with individuals and teams across all organizational levels Experience implementing and supporting Treasury Automation Suite solutions (e.g., SKG) (preferred) Ability to partner with technical teams to design and implement customizations and integrations aligned with business requirements Participation in multiple end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, including design, testing, and go-live support A disciplined approach to root cause analysis, ensuring issues are resolved sustainably and do not recur Exposure to AP Automation initiatives (preferred) You’re great at… Providing ongoing application support within a managed services delivery model, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and minor system enhancements Communicating clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Demonstrating confidence, professionalism, and sound judgment while maintaining composure in fast-paced client and consulting environments Working independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams to support both employees and clients Managing time effectively, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while operating with minimal supervision in dynamic environments Prioritizing and triaging multiple client issues within a managed services environment while maintaining responsiveness and quality Taking ownership of client challenges and guiding issues to resolution across functional and technical teams Staying composed and thinking clearly under pressure Developing thoughtful, creative solutions to complex business and system challenges Prioritizing client satisfaction while delivering high-quality support and outcomes Embracing continuous learning and proactively exploring new technologies Representing and promoting company values in daily interactions with colleagues and clients Sound interesting? If so, you’ll have… Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA preferred) At least 7-10 years of experience working with D365 for Finance and Operations/Dynamics AX solutions A desire to take on the challenges of D365 consulting without the travel requirements (this role is fully remote) Experience taking ownership of production environments and guiding issues to resolution across functional and technical teams Exposure to advanced financial configurations such as fund accounting, encumbrance accounting, budget planning, and public sector finance processes is a plus Familiarity with data management tools and processes in Dynamics 365 Finance environments is a plus The Perks We offer competitive pay with and performance-based bonus.
