Position: D365 Finance Consultant - Managed Services 

Department: Managed Services 

Visa Sponsorship: You must have legal working rights in the country of your residence within the EMEA region. Sponsorship is only available within the Netherlands.    

What is your goal?  

You will provide day‑to‑day finance operations support and managed‑services delivery for clients running Dynamics 365 Finance. You will resolve incidents, deliver small enhancements, support monthly/period-end activities, and work with the client and HSO teams to prioritize the managed‑services backlog within agreed SLAs.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as a primary finance subject matter expert for assigned managed‑service clients. 
  • Triage and resolve incidents and service requests from the ticket queue within agreed SLA targets. 
  • Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting issues. 
  • Implement small configuration changes, parameter updates, and lightweight extensions in D365 (F&O) per change control. 
  • Execute assigned releases/patches, participate in testing and deployment activities for managed‑service changes. 
  • Maintain runbooks, knowledge base articles, and post‑incident reports. 
  • Investigate recurring issues and propose permanent fixes or process changes; raise CI work items for larger improvements. 
  • Work with Service Delivery Manager and client stakeholders to prioritize backlog and maintain governance (weekly/biweekly cadence). 
  • Monitor system health (jobs, integrations), support interfaces and data loads, and liaise with infrastructure/Integration teams on outages. 
  • Provide timely status reporting and handover notes for escalations. 

 

Requirements 

When do we match up? 

You have... 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. 
  • 6+ years’ experience supporting Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 F&O) system. 
  • Previous experience on D365 Finance implementations is a must have. 
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, cash & bank, period‑end close. 
  • Good troubleshooting skills and experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.). 
  • Finance experience in a corporate accounting/finance function is a strong plus. 
  • Experience with Power BI or financial reporting tools is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills: you are able to explain technical issues to finance users and escalate clearly to technical teams. 
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written; any other additional language is a plus. 
  • Proactive and customer-oriented mindset. 
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
