Role introduction

At HSO GS, we are looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions across a variety of client environments. You will work closely with functional consultants and clients to translate business requirements into robust, high‑quality technical solutions, developing and enhancing X++ code, extensions, and integrations while ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations based on business and project requirements
  • Implement extensions, integrations, and customizations using X++ and modern development practices
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, data entities, and web services
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Support customers in a managed services environment, including:
    • Investigating and resolving incidents and service requests
    • Performing root cause analysis and developing sustainable fixes
    • Supporting ongoing improvements and small enhancements in live environments 
  • Work across both project delivery and support scenarios, adapting to different priorities and timelines
  • Contribute to technical documentation and solution design
  • Work within an Agile/DevOps environment, supporting continuous delivery and improvement
  • Stay up to date with the latest D365FO features, platform updates, and development best practices

Key Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O development
  • Solid experience with X++ and the extension-based development model
  • Good understanding of D365FO architecture, data entities, and integration patterns
  • Experience with integrations (OData, REST APIs, or Azure services is a plus)
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (version control, builds, pipelines)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server and data structures
  • Experience or willingness to work in a support/managed services model
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in an international environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Exposure to Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions)
  • Understanding of finance or supply chain processes
