Role introduction
As a Senior Technical Consultant, Power BI you can expect to...
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and enterprise reporting solutions that transform complex data into actionable business insights.
- Build and customize scalable semantic models that enable consistent metrics, accurate analysis, and self-service reporting.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical designs, data models, calculations, and intuitive reporting experiences.
- Design and implement modern analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Dataflows, Azure Synapse, and related Microsoft data services.
- Develop reporting solutions that integrate Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics 365 Project Operations, Dataverse, and other enterprise data sources.
- Create advanced calculations, data transformations, and reporting logic using DAX, SQL, and Power Query M.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions and collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support user acceptance testing, deployment validation, go-live readiness, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live activities.
- Develop paginated and operational reporting solutions that support financial, billing, project, accounts receivable, and general ledger reporting needs.
- Establish and promote best practices for report development, semantic modeling, documentation, quality, performance, and maintainability while providing technical guidance and mentorship to other consultants.

- Advanced experience with DAX, SQL, Power Query M, data modeling, and data transformation concepts.

- Experience supporting solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and go-live.
- Experience working directly with clients and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric capabilities such as OneLake, Dataflows, or Fabric semantic models.
- Experience with Azure Synapse, data warehousing, ETL, or modern analytics architecture.

- Experience with paginated reports or SSRS is preferred; familiarity with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Git, and modern development or deployment practices is also preferred.
- Experience with financial, project, billing, accounts receivable, or general ledger reporting is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

HSO is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to lead solution design and drive hands-on delivery of complex Microsoft Azure engagements for our clients. This role owns the architecture from discovery through implementation—spanning landing zones, migrations, identity & security, IaC, and cloud governance—while staying grounded in the platform and working directly alongside engineers and clients. What You'll Do Lead Business Transformation Define and drive solution strategies for international transformation programs. Advise senior stakeholders on business transformation and technology decisions. Facilitate architecture workshops and guide customers towards best-practice operating models. Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency. Own Solution Architecture Design end-to-end Dynamics 365 F&O solutions across business processes, integrations, data, and supporting technologies. Ensure architectural consistency across multiple workstreams, countries, and business units. Drive solution governance, quality, risk management, and long-term sustainability. Balance business objectives with technical and operational requirements. Create Impact Beyond Delivery Support strategic presales engagements, diagnostics, and customer workshops. Contribute to HSO methodologies, standards, and best practices. Share innovations across our global consulting community. Mentor consultants and help develop the next generation of architects. What We're Looking For A trusted advisor and strategic leader who can bridge business and technology, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate with clarity and confidence in English. You will typically bring: 7+ years of ERP consulting and solution architecture experience. Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX. Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale transformation programs. Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement. Knowledge of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, or Professional Services. Familiarity with Azure, Power Platform, analytics, automation, AI, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem. A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
