About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Azure Integration Engineer with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in Azure Integration Services (AIS) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in integration patterns, transformation technologies, and DevOps practices to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure integrations across cloud and hybrid environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps (Standard and Consumption), Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Functions, and Azure Event Grid.
  • Apply Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) such as message routing, publish–subscribe, content-based routing, scatter–gather, and saga orchestration to solve complex integration challenges.
  • Develop and maintain data transformations using XSLT and Liquid templates within Azure Logic Apps and Integration Accounts.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated build, testing, and deployment of integration artifacts.
  • Author and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep or Terraform to provision and manage integration resources across environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration contracts, and deliver solutions on schedule.
  • Contribute to integration standards, naming conventions, retry/error-handling policies, and documentation.

Integration patterns

Strong understanding of EIP (message broker, routing, transformation, orchestration, choreography)

Azure services

Deep hands-on knowledge of Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Functions, Event Grid, Integration Accounts

Transformations

Proven experience building XSLT maps and Liquid templates for data transformation

DevOps & IaC

Mandatory experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning via Bicep or Terraform

Collaboration

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams

Certifications

AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) and AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) — mandatory

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with B2B/EDI integrations (AS2, X12, EDIFACT).
  • Exposure to hybrid integration using On-Premises Data Gateway.
  • Knowledge of API-first design and OpenAPI specifications.
  • Experience with Azure Key Vault for secrets and certificate management in integration workflows.
  • Understanding of schema validation (XML/JSON) and contract-first development.
