About the Role

HSO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced D365 Finance & Operations Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules and experience delivering end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Supply Chain Management processes.
  • Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules based on business requirements.
  • Lead workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and solution design discussions with stakeholders.
  • Provide functional expertise across SCM modules including:
    • Procurement and Sourcing
    • Inventory Management
    • Warehouse Management
    • Product Information Management
    • Master Planning
    • Sales and Distribution
    • Transportation Management (preferred)
  • Create functional design documents and collaborate with technical teams for customizations and integrations.
  • Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.
  • Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues.
  • Conduct user training sessions and prepare user documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Strong functional expertise in D365 F&O Supply Chain Management modules.
  • Experience in at least 2–3 full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain business processes and best practices.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical teams.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or older versions, including functional configuration, process understanding, and support activities.
  • Experience in migration, upgrade, or transformation projects from Dynamics AX 2012 to D365 Finance & Operations will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in global implementation projects.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure integrations, and reporting tools is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Agile project delivery methodologies.
