About the role

The Program Manager at HSO is accountable for end-to-end outcomes across multiple related projects and workstreams. This role owns the delivery system itself: defining roadmaps, sequencing, delivery models, governance structures, and decision cadence that align execution with business outcomes.

Program Managers make direction-setting decisions that commit the organization to a path, and are accountable for the consequences of those decisions across scope, timing, cost, value realization, and customer trust.

As a Program Manager, you will operate primarily at the level of direction and alignment rather than task execution. Your focus is on roadmaps, phasing, sequencing, and delivery models that span multiple projects. You design and run governance that drives decisions, resolve cross-project conflicts, and ensure that individual initiatives collectively deliver intended business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, multi-workstream Dynamics 365 / Data / AI transformation programs with end-to-end accountability for outcomes
  • Create and maintain an integrated program roadmap and plan (scope, milestones, dependencies, architecture, environments, customer readiness)
  • Own program governance that drives real decisions (steering, architecture boards, risk reviews, change control)
  • Align the program to business objectives and value realisation: define benefits, track leading indicators, and protect momentum to reach go-lives
  • Shape delivery approach, organisation, and commercials during pre-sales and mobilisation; run delivery-readiness reviews of proposals
  • Co-author Statements of Work (SOW) with specific accountability for assumptions, risks, delivery economics, team structure, phase entry/exit criteria, and change control
  • Ensure program role completeness and continuity (e.g., solution/integration architecture coverage, test leadership, PMO/controls) and address gaps early
  • Protect architectural and solution integrity with Architect Leads, monitoring integration, data, security, and non-functional risks
  • Stay close to execution where it matters: backlog quality, requirements clarity, sequencing, testing readiness, defect trends, data migration progress, cutover readiness
  • Run disciplined RAID practices and scenario-based decision support; escalate early with fact-based options and recommendations
  • Lead and develop Project Managers, PMO, and workstream leads; coach performance and address delivery behaviours that increase risk
  • Manage third-party delivery governance and boundary clarity (responsibilities, interfaces, escalation routes, and dependency commitments)
  • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with customers to strengthen their transformation capability and decision-making maturity
  • Continuously improve HSO Standard Working Practices (SWP) and contribute to a culture of ownership and delivery excellence

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ delivery experience in ERP or other complex ERP transformation environments (Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Proven track record leading large, multi-workstream programs across business and technology teams
  • Comfort operating with senior stakeholders and resetting expectations constructively
  • Experience working in international, multicultural delivery environments and across time zones
  • Experience coordinating delivery responsibilities and interfaces across internal teams and third parties
  • Translate business goals into an executable program roadmap with clear outcomes and benefits tracking
  • Maintain delivery momentum toward value realisation (avoid multi-year template builds with no go-lives)
  • Run decision-oriented governance and maintain stakeholder alignment across competing priorities
  • Influence without authority; create clarity and accountability through facts, options, and trade-offs
  • Integrated planning, dependency management, and readiness control across environments, design, build, testing, data, and cutover
  • Strong grasp of DevOps-based delivery, estimation, RAID discipline, and delivery economics
  • Good architectural literacy: understand impacts of solution design, extensions, integrations, data, and non-functional requirements
  • Able to monitor architectural risk posture and ensure appropriate leadership coverage
  • International travel required depending on program needs. Minimum 20% travelling
