Role introduction

As a D365 CE Sr. Technical Solution Architect, you can expect to… 

  • Define architecture direction across complex, multi-workstream Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement implementations spanning Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure services, and enterprise integration layers.
  • Establish solution modeling standards that support long-term platform scalability, extensibility, and alignment with Microsoft roadmap evolution across Copilot, Fabric, and Power Platform.
  • Own cross-platform integration strategy connecting Dynamics 365 CE with Azure services, enterprise data platforms, analytics environments, and external business systems to support multi-service-line solution continuity.
  • Guide extensibility decisions across configuration, customization, and Azure-based patterns to ensure maintainable solutions that support future platform expansion beyond initial CE implementations.
  • Establish environment topology strategies and lifecycle management guardrails supporting secure, repeatable, and high-velocity delivery across concurrent engagements and evolving enterprise programs.
  • Provide technical leadership across delivery teams to ensure alignment with performance expectations, security standards, and enterprise governance requirements in complex implementation environments.
  • Support architecture alignment across workstreams and service lines by standardizing integration approaches, deployment sequencing, and extensibility frameworks that enable long-term client platform growth.
  • Partner with functional architects, delivery leaders, and client stakeholders to translate business transformation objectives into scalable platform strategies aligned with broader Microsoft ecosystem adoption.
  • Provide architecture escalation support across implementations involving integration complexity, performance optimization, environment strategy, and solution layering decisions.
  • Shape technical solution direction during presales engagements by validating architecture feasibility, delivery strategy alignment, and long-term platform positioning.
  • Mentor solution architects and senior consultants while strengthening technical delivery standards and reusable architecture patterns across engagements.
  • Balance hands-on architecture leadership with advisory responsibilities across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-moving consulting environment.
  • Incorporate emerging Microsoft platform capabilities, including Copilot extensibility, Power Platform governance evolution, and Fabric alignment, into enterprise solution strategies supporting future modernization initiatives.

Sound interesting? If so, you’ll have… 

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 7+ years of technical architecture experience working with recent versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and related technologies including but not limited to C#, .NET, JavaScript, Dataverse, Azure integration services, APIs, and Power Platform extensibility models
  • 12+ years of experience delivering enterprise business applications including Dynamics 365 CE implementations, solution architecture, and distributed system design within consulting or systems integration environments
  • Experience defining solution architecture across complex, multi-workstream Dynamics 365 CE implementations supporting scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise deployments
  • Demonstrated ownership of architecture direction across multiple engagements or programs, not limited to a single implementation workstream
  • Ability to translate business and functional requirements into enterprise architecture designs aligned with Microsoft platform roadmap direction and industry best practices
  • Experience defining extensibility strategies across configuration, customization, Power Platform automation, and Azure-based integration approaches
  • Ability to lead and provide architecture guidance to development teams relating to integration strategy, environment lifecycle management, deployment sequencing, and solution governance standards
  • Experience aligning Dynamics 365 CE solutions with enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, or Azure data services
  • Strong understanding of environment topology strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment lifecycle management across enterprise delivery programs
  • Experience contributing to presales architecture, solution shaping, and technical discovery supporting large transformation initiatives
  • Ability to mentor solution architects and senior consultants while reinforcing delivery standards and reusable architecture patterns across engagements
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform and its role in supporting enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 CE extensibility and integration strategies
  • Ability to define, construct, and oversee implementation of Solution Testing, Performance Testing, Accessibility Testing, Security Testing, and System and Integration Testing strategies across complex delivery programs
