Transforming vendor interactions in just seven weeks
Facing a critical deadline ahead of tax season, the Alabama Department of Revenue worked with HSO and Microsoft to build a new solution on Microsoft Power Platform in just seven weeks.
The solution replaced manual, email, and spreadsheet-based processes with automated workflows and centralized information, later expanding to give vendors a single portal for tax testing information and interactions. Processes that once took one to two days can now be completed in approximately three hours on average.
