Pursue a wide range of different career opportunities
I came to HSO right out of college. Before that, I‘d had various student jobs in the IT industry, and those had shown me that I wanted to go into consulting. Then I saw a job ad on an online application platform and contacted our HR rep, Mary, directly. From then on, everything happened very quickly. We had a great rapport, and it quickly became clear that we wanted to work together. And that’s how I ended up at HSO.
In my 1.5-year career at HSO, I’ve had the opportunity to work in several different departments. I‘ve followed the usual consultant career path, risen up through the ranks, and have already developed my career further. I’m actually moving over to the presales team. Working with dynamic teams
There are very different roles in the Retail Capability Department and the area in which I work. There are a variety of different career levels and managers in consulting, and then there are also solution architects in my team who provide professional support for the project topic as a whole and who analyze the processes.
There’s also our Capability Manager, who’s responsible for the Retail area at a functional level. The disciplinary supervisor, the line manager, is responsible for the entire team.

I’d advise applicants to be natural in their interview. Just be yourself. Your colleagues and, of course, the hiring managers, will appreciate it, and that will get you a long way. But my biggest tip is just to apply. You won‘t regret it. HSO is a great employer.
