This chemical company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fluoropolymers and fluorocompounds offering R&D services as well as technical support.
Challenge
This US-based company was given a directive by its parent corporation that all business units had to standardize on either SAP S/4HANA or Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
The company originally selected a partner to lead the migration effort from AX to D365 and align the business model to the global template, but it failed.
After initial talks and a successful engagement with HSO at another global division, HSO US instilled confidence that it understood the company's needs and had the skills to get the job done right.
Solution
Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management was selected over SAP for this business unit, based on the flexibility, user-friendliness, and low cost of implementation and maintenance of Dynamics 365.
HSO US was ultimately selected to implement the solution due to our approach and global presence, allowing us to use the previous implementation as a guide.
In addition, HSO has a deep understanding of the changing regulatory landscape in chemical manufacturing, which is imperative for an implementation partner in this industry.
