Challenge

The department was unable to properly track processes or conduct reporting, with no formal application, forcing employees to do tasks by memory. They were unable to track historical information about a legislative bill, which caused communication breakdowns within the organization. There was no standard platform for new and legacy application needs.

Solution

HSO incorporated an integration with legiscan.com to retrieve bill information utilizing Microsoft Power Automate and a custom Microsoft Power Apps connector.

Results

HSO's partnership with the state’s Department of Health and Human Services created a streamlined process that provided more efficient tracking, workflow, and reporting with the Microsoft Power Platform
