About

This county is one of the most populous in the state of Illinois, with over a dozen districts and 700,000+ citizens.

Challenge

The budgeting process in this county is spread out among 165 business units, which include departments and sub-departments. Around 70 users are involved in the preparation of budgets. However, they faced challenges due to inefficiencies and the presence of isolated data systems.

Solution

HSO implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance including budget planning and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management as well as key integrations to UKG and Solver BI360.

Results

The connected Microsoft-based ERP platform is providing the county with a "best of breed" solution that streamlines processes and will support them well into the future.
