This company is a global leader in the manufacturing of electric compressors for the commercial, heavy-duty, and automotive specialty markets with facilities in the US, China, India, Germany, Ireland, and Argentina.

Challenge

To support projected growth and expansion being driven by rapid EV adoption in the transportation industry, this manufacturer needed to implement a global ERP solution to replace multiple instances of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to facilitate their complex intercompany global supply chain.

Solution

The company currently has 5 facilities around the globe running either Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV and had been using the project module in Dynamics AX, which was very time consuming and cumbersome. After evaluating other major software solutions, the company decided to remain on the Microsoft platform by implementing Dynamics 365 Field Service.
