Role introduction

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing for HSO Canada, perfect for someone who loves building clean processes, running campaigns end-to-end, and using data to make smart decisions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building pipeline across HSO’s core industries, Professional Services & Manufacturing, while also marketing our full suite of Microsoft business solutions, including CRM (Customer Engagement), ERP (Finance & Supply Chain), and Cloud Services (Azure, Data & AI).

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves – whether that means executing a multi-channel campaign, preparing CRM lists, validating lead flow, or supporting customer lifecycle programs. You will help drive pipeline, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure our marketing engine runs smoothly and accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling messaging and value propositions tailored to our industry verticals (Professional Services & Manufacturing) and solution offerings (CRM, ERP, and Cloud Services), ensuring alignment with target audiences and revenue goals.
  • Design and execute integrated demand generation campaigns that build C-level pipeline, from strategy to execution, measurement, and optimization. Tactics may include:
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Email nurture journeys
  • Virtual and in-person events
  • Content development (blogs, eBooks, whitepapers)
  • Video production
  • Case study creation
  • Website content updates
  • Paid Search (PPC), Social Media, and SEM
  • Lead list building, segmentation, and management
  • Conversion-focused lead capture tactics
  • Drive partner-led and referral marketing programs, identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships within the Microsoft ecosystem, including close collaboration with Microsoft’s marketing and sales teams.
  • Lead lifecycle marketing initiatives across the buyer journey, using a mix of digital and relationship-based tactics to deliver high-quality, sales-ready opportunities.
  • Track and report campaign performance, continuously optimizing programs using data-driven insights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to Microsoft, including campaign results, “Win Wires,” and opportunity tracking through Microsoft’s Partner Center.
  • Maintain database health, reducing list decay and unsubscribes while improving the impact of email marketing efforts.
  • Perform manual data hygiene tasks in CRM and marketing automation platforms to ensure accurate segmentation, reporting, and attribution.
  • Collaborate on conference and event planning, coordinating logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up. Some travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of B2B marketing experience in the technology industry, preferably ideally for a Microsoft partner or a competitive solution provider.
  • Firsthand experience using CRM and marketing automation systems, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to demonstrate your ability to deliver business results through integrated, multi-touch campaigns and programs
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Sales to deliver results.
  • Experience with media platforms (LinkedIn) & PPC on these platforms
  • Solid background in creating and implementing marketing campaigns that use live email, events, webinars, digital advertising, and social media.
  • Experience using a web content management system, such as Umbraco or WordPress
  • Excellent collaboration skills, but also works well independently
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a similar concentration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
