Why We’re Excited About the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Non-Profit Accelerator 2021 Wave 1 Release
For 20 years, HSO has been working with non-profits, supporting them with Microsoft technology including Microsoft Dynamics 365. So we’ve been thrilled that Microsoft has shown their commitment to the nonprofit sector through their Tech for Social Impact group and last year’s launch of the Dynamics 365 Nonprofit Accelerator.
A suite of solutions for fundraising and operations. the Nonprofit Accelerator was designed to help address the common issues faced by nonprofit organizations, including constituent management, fundraising, awards, program delivery, and impact tracking, but cannot do as well as they could because of tight budgets, which keep them from accessing the technology they need to operate more efficiently while doing more to pursue their mission.
In the previous release wave, the Accelerator included more functionality to manage program delivery, beneficiary management, fundraising, volunteer management, and finance and operations. It also included standards like the global International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In December 2020, Microsoft released features focused on assessment management, volunteer management, and frontline humanitarian logistics.
