Our Data Framework for Manufacturing: delivering next-level data and analytics
Read more about DNA FrameworkThe HSO process model in detail
Why HSO?
Achieving ESG compliance means undertaking many complex, multi-step processes that are new to most businesses.
Trying to reach this goal on your own, you run a high risk wasting significant time, money, and resources and still not maximizing the potential benefits.
HSO has combined our own data solutions and cutting-edge Microsoft technology, deployed by experts in data and sustainability, to streamline the roadmap to ESG compliancy and business opportunities.
STEP 1: CREATING THE CO2 EMISSIONS INVENTORY ACCORDING TO GHG
HSO utilizes our DNA Accelerator to conduct an analysis of the emissions inventory. The Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability enriches emissions factors.
STEP 2: DERIVING CO2 REQUIREMENTS AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS ACCORDING TO TCFD
After laying the foundation with the DNA Framework and Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, HSO supports you in mapping and managing TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures) metrics in the Microsoft Sustainability Manager.
The Microsoft Sustainability Manager gathers data from ERP platforms and other sources, then classifies them as direct, indirect, and other indirect emissions, in accordance with the CSRD directives. Furthermore, it allocates these emissions to various enterprise levels, from countries and regions, down to individual warehouses and stores. This enables you to efficiently use your resources to pinpoint problem areas and identify best practices throughout your entire supply chain.
STEP 3 - DETERMINING THE CO2 BALANCE AND IMPLEMENTING THE EU TAXONOMY
It's important to note that the implementation of the EU Taxonomy is an ongoing process. Therefore, corporations must regularly review and improve their efforts to comply with the Taxonomy criteria.
In this step, we utilize the Microsoft Sustainability Manager to assign emission sources to the required EU taxonomy. Then we create the carbon footprint through an outbound interface to the ERP system.
STEP 4 - EXPANDING AND DISCLOSING RISK INDICATORS AND THE REPORT ACCORDING TO CSRD
Finally, we create an outbound interface from the ERP system to the reporting software to seamlessly report on ESG KPI's.
The implementation of sustainable practices poses significant challenges for businesses that must be addressed under tight deadlines. With our expertise, approach model, and experience as an established implementation partner of Microsoft technologies, we are confident that we are the right partner for you on this shared journey.
