Case Study 2: Improving the retail supply chain with HSO Fashion retailer Weird Fish

Weird Fish worked with HSO to introduce Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Weird Fish wanted to increase stock efficiencies and delivery capabilities, in line with a significant stock level increase resulting from the brand’s move to a new 90,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Bradford in 2022.

Among several benefits, the new ERP system will allow more customer orders to be fulfilled between channels, with orders placed online available for in-store collection. Weird Fish can also order goods for collection from other stores as a result of the move.

Jon Goodwin, finance & IT director at Weird Fish, said:

"Our original ERP system needed a drastic refresh in line with our digital acceleration, particularly as we were largely a wholesale business in 2013 and our original system was predominantly B2B focused. Now, our system has been transformed with a B2C mentality at its core.” (11)
