HSO achieved this honour, which recognises it as having a ‘high trust, high engagement workplace culture’.
The rankings were announced at a gala dinner last night (27 April 2016) and HSO, was placed at 40th in the overall list.

The award recognises the strength of HSO leadership and the range of innovative, creative and effective HR policies which create its workplace culture.
Our managing Director David Little, said: “We are thrilled to achieve a ranking on the UK Best Workplaces list, and see it as a testament to the positive company values we have established. Our culture is based on trust and empowering our employees and I would like to thank them all for the part they have played in achieving this prestigious accolade.”
Tom O’Byrne, Great Place to Work® CEO said: “We are delighted that HSO has made the ranking in their first year of participation, something which is not easy to achieve. Two thirds of the final score is based on what employees think and how they feel and HSO’s employees are some of the most engaged in the UK. They tell us that HSO has a great culture with a friendly team spirit and they are proud to work there. HSO understands the importance of creating a strong and positive workplace culture with effective and respected leaders and has clearly created the kind of workplace people want to join and stay.”
