Présentation du rôle

As a Lead Microsoft D365 F&O Finance Consultant you can expect to…

  • Engage in value-adding business and application consultancy that meet the client needs
  • Lead D365 F&O implementations from analysis phase and onward with little supervision from the Functional Solution Architect in a highly visible, client facing role
  • Implement and configure financial modules of D365 for F&O
  • Guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building, help detail the project scope
  • Carry out prototyping plans, procedure documentation and communicate with your team
  • Define functional requirement and design documents that developers can use for enhancements; Finalize and sign-off on FRD and FDD; Perform unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans
  • Drive the team to resolve all issues identified during the testing and QA phases and test enhancements for end-user acceptance and accuracy
  • Organize and manage entire training cycle; Train power users and end users on efficient use of the solution, share ‘tips and tricks’
  • Travel to client-site when necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA highly desired
  • 8+ years of experience as a Microsoft D365 F&O Finance Consultant
  • Successfully implemented the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank and Cash Management, Management Reporter/FRx, Project Accounting
  • Experience participating in all stages of multiple D365 F&O implementation projects
  • Ability to guide others in developing the different components of a gap/fit analysis and fully review and approve gap/fit analysis that will ensure the success of the project
  • Deep understanding of D365 Solution functionality as it relates to the client's requirements
  • Ability to derive effective and scalable designs
  • Expert level of competency in configuration and customizations in D365 Solution
  • Confidence to guide others in developing the different components of functional specification and documentation
  • Ability to develop and manage the testing, QA and training phases of the project
  • Microsoft D365 F&O Financials certifications
  • Flexibility to travel as the needs of clients and our business dictate

Op het project ben je verantwoordelijk voor de algehele kwaliteit en samenhang van het IT-landschap. Primair binnen de kaders van het project. Echter doordat je implementatie altijd samenhangt met andere systemen ben je ook veel bezig met het landschap buiten het Microsoft project. Je bepaalt samen met de klant waar je naartoe gaat over de jaren heen en ziet jouw plannen dan werkelijkheid worden. Als je het leuk vindt is er ook altijd ruimte om op de inhoud in te gaan. Good customer awareness and practice is essential in order to be able to fulfil the breadth of the role.Key Responsibilities· Lead the solution implementation and services proposal during the pre-sales process· Define and lead the requirements analysis and take a lead role in requirements workshops· Guide the customer to the right solution for their business based on your knowledge of Dynamics AX and our industry solutions· Provide the link between the implementation teams and the business community, ensuring the new system fits in with the customer’s trading cycles· Oversee the business consultants and developers in the solution design, including quality assuring their work· To work with current and prospective customers to fully understand their solution requirements in order to produce optimal solutions architecture· To act as a lead consultant in project scoping activities· To work closely with consultant and development teams to provide estimates and quotes for new solution· To produce systems architecture and design documentation to agreed standards· To understand the HSO project delivery methodology and recommend the implementation approach for new solutions· To work closely with project teams and act as a point of reference/escalation during the implementation of a solution, closely aligned with the Project Manager· To act as a point of reference/escalation for HSO support teams once a solution has been implemented· To act as the technical design authority for any change requests to a current solution· Liaise with clients in order to analyse business processes, clarify customer requirements and determine the scope of required solution.· Business Process design/mapping and documentation· Leading implementation through to delivery and initial post go-live support· Develop design specifications· Lead internal solutions design and process mapping workshops· Manage customer expectations regarding the solution whilst ensuring the maximum use is being made of the software· Participate in pre-sales activities as requested.· Represent HSO in a professional and positive manner at all times· Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.· Ensure that all Microsoft Certifications and Accreditations required to fulfil this Role within HSO are met as determined by you and the Consulting Head
