Being part of a unique culture is just one of the reasons why HSO employees choose to go to work every day. There are many other reasons, according to UK’s Best Workplaces™ ranking just published by Great Place to Work®. HSO was recognised in this year’s ranking along with 127 other UK organisations.

This is the third consecutive year that HSO has been recognised by its employees as an organisation that promotes trust, pride and camaraderie and we are delighted to have jumped a further two positions in 2018, with a ranking of 34. Some of the reasons employees give as to why HSO is an excellent place to work are:

“Friendliness like no other company I’ve worked at in 20 years; a real sense of family. We are empowered, we are recognised, we are rewarded.”

“HSO have created a culture that instills a deep sense of comradeship, and support is there whenever and however you need it!”

“A team that works together sensibly for a common goal, whilst putting the customer first.”

David Little, Managing Director, HSO Enterprise Solutions said: “We are thrilled to achieve a ranking on the UK Best Workplaces list for the third year running, and see it as a testament to the positive company values we have established across the UK at our Reading, Manchester and Glasgow offices. Our culture is based on trust and empowering our employees and I would like to thank them all for the part they have played in achieving this prestigious accolade.”

The opinion of employees is key since the survey that employees answer (Trust Index©) represents 2/3rds of the final score to enter the ranking. The remaining third of the score is the Culture Audit©, a business-driven questionnaire that Great Place to Work® uses to understand and evaluate the organisation’s HR and leadership practices, policies and culture.
